DESCRIPTION:The Communications\, Space and Technology Commission (CST)\, in partnership with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU)\, is hosting the Global Space Connectivity and Sustainability Events in Riyadh under the theme "Connected World\, Sustainable Space." The event brings together the third editions of the Global Forum on Connecting the World from the Skies and the Space Sustainability Forum\, creating a global platform to advance innovation in non-terrestrial networks (NTN) and promote the sustainable use of space. It will convene policymakers\, regulators\, industry leaders\, researchers\, and technology experts to discuss the future of space communications\, integrated terrestrial and non-terrestrial connectivity\, space sustainability\, and emerging opportunities in the global space economy. The three-day programme will feature keynote sessions\, panel discussions\, technical presentations\, and the announcement of the winners of the third NTN International Research Competition\, highlighting the latest developments in space communications\, international collaboration\, and sustainable space technologies.
