Top attractions in Jubail

Jubail is primarily an industrial city, but its northern coastline at Al-Fanateer offers modern beaches and parks, while the old Jubail al-Bahri waterfront preserves the city's memory as a fishing and pearling port before the industrial era.

Nature

Al-Fanateer Beach

One of Jubail's most recently developed beaches, with a long stretch of sand, walking and cycling paths, and green space, plus a marina for boat trips and fishing. Best visited in the evening or on weekends when the surrounding facilities are livelier.

Nature

Al-Huwaylat Island

One of several small protected islands off Jubail's coast within the Jubail Marine Wildlife Sanctuary, home to seabirds and coastal wildlife. It isn't open to general public access without arranging a specialized marine tour — more a protected ecological site than an open visitor destination.

Nature

Khaldiya Park

A neighbourhood park in Jubail's Khaldiya area, with green space and shaded seating — a local family option away from the busier corniche zones.

Culture

Old Jubail (Jubail al-Bahri)

The original core of Jubail before the 1975 industrial city was built, when it was a small fishing and pearling village on the Gulf coast. It's less tourist-developed than the modern industrial city today, but it's where the town's name and early history originate.

Culture

Al-Tawiya Tower

A stone fortress tower built in 1929 on the orders of King Abdulaziz to guard the Al-Tawiya well, once Jubail's main source of drinking water before the desalination era. One of the oldest surviving landmarks at the governorate's center.

Entertainment

Al-Hamra Park

A public park within Jubail's industrial city, with green lawns and children's play areas — a practical stop for resident families or passing visitors looking for a short break. It doesn't carry the same tourist draw as the Fanateer beaches.
