Program overview
HAYY MATSURI Art Jameel presents the second edition of Hayy Matsuri , a large cultural festival promoting and celebrating Japanese and Saudi tradition, culture and arts in a contemporary and interactive way! This year, Hayy Matsuri is back bigger and better with exclusive performances by Japanese music project Electronicos Fantasticos! and sound artist Daisuke Tanabe , both making their debut in Saudi Arabia. Taking inspiration from nature, everyday objects, sound and technology, the festival celebrates innovative and compelling ideas by pairing Japanese and Saudi artists including DesertF!sh , Akram Ali and Abstract crew to collaborate musically, explore and reimagine memories from the past, present and future through repurposed electrical appliances, transformative audio and visuals and soundscapes from Japan and Jeddah.
