Program overview
Filmmakers, photographers, cinematographers and actors are welcomed to join us for a seven-day filmmaking course under the supervision of Jaan Al-Balushi. Nearly 20 participants will come to Ithra every day from 4 to 9 p.m. to cover the stages of filmmaking, starting from the idea and scriptwriting, filming, and, finally, to editing. Editing equipment, such as the Adobe Premiere software, will be available. At the end of the course, three individual teams will each produce a short film ranging between two to seven minutes. Course Objectives: Gaining a comprehensive understanding of short films, including their history, genres and techniques Developing critical thinking and analytical skills
