Melwah Racing 2026 takes place from October 4 to 9, bringing together falconers and enthusiasts for one of the Kingdom’s most anticipated falconry competitions. Organized by the Saudi Falcons Club, the event celebrates a traditional sport deeply rooted in Saudi heritage while supporting the Kingdom’s position as a global hub for falconry. Held on an expansive field, the race tests the speed, agility, and training of competing falcons. Birds are released from the arms of their handlers and fly toward a lure operator positioned 200 meters away, with the fastest recorded times determining the winners across multiple categories. Featuring financial prizes and prestigious titles, Melwah Racing highlights the close bond between falconer and bird, while promoting public interest in this historic tradition.
