The Second Saudi Statistics Forum is a high-level national platform organized by the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) to strengthen cooperation, promote statistical integration, support capacity development, and facilitate knowledge exchange across the Kingdom's statistical ecosystem. Building on the success of its inaugural edition held in April 2025, the second edition will be held under the theme "Towards an Integrated Statistical Ecosystem" on 9 November 2026 in Riyadh, alongside the 6th United Nations World Data Forum 2026. The Forum is expected to bring together Their Highnesses, Excellencies, ministers, representatives of international organizations and statistical offices, local and international experts, decision-makers, and academics. It will feature specialized sessions and an accompanying exhibition with broad participation from local and international organizations. The Forum aims to raise awareness of the role of official statistics in policymaking and national development, strengthen partnerships between national and international statistical entities, and promote knowledge sharing to support a more integrated and sustainable statistical ecosystem. Register Now Initiative: Road to Riyadh (R2R) As part of the preparations for the 6th United Nations World Data Forum 2026, the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) launched the "Road to Riyadh" program to promote awareness of the Kingdom's role in data and statistics and support knowledge exchange and international collaboration. The initiative featured a series of in-person and virtual sessions, seminars, and workshops held across several cities in the Kingdom throughout the year. The program reflects GASTAT's ongoing efforts to strengthen the Kingdom's position in the statistical field and support the development of data and statistical systems in line with the Sustainable Development Goals and Saudi Vision 2030. The Second Saudi Statistics Forum is a key "Road to Riyadh" event.
